Mikko Lehtinen
Mikko Lehtinen studied Directing, TV commercial design, Theatre Directing and Cultural history. He started as a production assistant on MTV3 channel and after a few years moved away from production behind the camera and on to directing where he has stayed to this day. As a director he has more then 60 commercials and 10 music videos to his credit, which have been shot around the world including New York, Paris, London, Hamburg, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Helsinki and Kiev amongst others. He has been awarded prizes at numerous festivals, some of them being for "The Finnish Defence Forces"(Silver Montreaux 2001, Shortlist Cannes 2001 and Gold Montreaux 2002), Mannerheim League for child welfare (Voitto Grand Prix 2002 and Silver prize at the New York festival), Lapin Kulta (Shortlist Epica 2002), Hartwall Novelle (Shortlist Cannes 2003), Volkswagen (Diploma BTAA 2003), Land Rover (Diploma BTAA 2004), Guardian (Bronze BTA 2005), Regaine (Shortlist Cannes 2005).
