Bořivoj Hořínek
Bořivoj Hořínek is a young and talented director who between 1998 and 2005 studied Film and TV directing at the Film Academy in Prague (FAMU). At the present time he is studying Art & Design at the Nottingham Trent University in Great Britain. His work experiences are various, he has worked alongside Věra Chytilová, as an assistant director on the film production Ban from Paradise. He has also directed TV promo trailers and reportage work for Czech Television. He has directed the documentary film ‘Confession of a Knife’, music video ‘Syco’, for Skyline and short films such as Sonja Will Sit On The Bed, At The Shop Window, and Accident. He won the students prize for his diploma project, Chance Of The Millennium, at the 2001 FAMU Fest. He has also directed commercials for Sony, Quattro and Slovak.
